The breakfast included plentiful portions. Fresh food was served daily. The staff showed attentiveness. They answered many questions with a smile. Check-in was easy and they even helped me with taxi arrangements.
The room I had was not exactly what I saw online. it was still fine, though.

the position of the hotel was acceptable for accessing local attractions.
The room was NOT what I expected. It was quite dated. The furniture was chipped, and there were holes in the towels. I found broken coat hangers. It was difficult to hang anything.

The location was really good for visiting the winter gardens. it was just across the road. This made access very easy. the room was clean and the bed provided good comfort.
The receptionist did not stand up when we arrived. This seemed a bit rude. she talked to us from a distance without any explanation on how to find our room. there was a large hole at the bottom of the room door, so we had to use towels to cover it.
